trying to Imprt data from Excel to Table in SSIS.

One of the column in excel is in Date format. But this column is not populating in to the tables.

It's giving different numbers. I even use Data Conversion but still giving the wrong result.

    Input column : 8/30/2012

After Execute the package the column in the table gives like

    Output Column : 41151

What is the datatype in your destination? It sounds like it is doing some datediff which happens when the destination is an int instead of a datetime.
