I am into a new job and today I got some requests related to a database involved in replication. The database is a subscriber involved in transactional replication with push subscriptions. I had to check the tables involved in replication in the subscription database, so I used the MSreplication_objects table to get the list of articles. But when I cross verified the list against the publisher database, some of the articles were missing in the publisher. And also there was a record count difference for some of the tables across the publisher and subscriber, meaning those tables were not replicated. Is there any chance MSreplication_objects table would be out-of-sync and can show obsolete articles?
Also please suggest if there is any other way to check in the subscription database if a table is a replicated copy or not.
