  Hello!

  I'm a little bit curious about opportunity of moving to another country for DBAs.

  As I know it is common practise to hire software developers overseas, but what about DBA?

  I'm working in IT since 2003 (officially, in reality - since 2001) and about three years solely as a MS SQL and Oracle DBA (much more MS SQL than Oracle). Before this I had to work with all of IT-connected activities (networking, software, servers, databases, etc). This year I passed MS SQL 2008 DBA and Dev MCITP certifications and planning to achieve OCP (already passed 1Z0-051 SQL Fundamentals I) to end of year.

  Is it possible for me to find employer that will hire me and will sponsor working permit?

  What should I do for this?

  Maybe I should find remote job for beginning?
