Do you think that this question is only to make the candidate uncomfortable? Or is there any answer to clear this SPECIAL 🙂 situation?
Neither. It's to show the interviewer what are a few of the first things you think about during architecture of a system/database. Do you think database or server first? Do you think in data or flow? Do you imagine and intuit or do you go for technical documents?
It's open ended on purpose.
Never stop learning, even if it hurts. Ego bruises are practically mandatory as you learn unless you've never risked enough to make a mistake.
