- chose a clustering index

- by default, index your foreign keys

- you need database maintenance !

- what's a sql cluster

- what's a DRP/backup/data loss

- how big will your table / database be at start, in 1 month, in 3 months, in 6 months,...

- consult your dba

However, if you overload, you'll just be another nagging pita dba 😉
