  • Your scaryDBA.com link is broken in your article.

    I am looking forward to the contests.

  • Dear Santa,

    I've been a good boy this year and I want "SQL Monitor" for Christmas. Oh, and by the way having an iPad to run it on would be way cool!!!!

    Just to let you know there will be cookies and milk waiting for you at my house. Hope bribery works when trying to get on your "Nice" list.

  • Sorry, I won't be looking back here for the contest, but nice try, greg.

    The ScaryDBA.com link seems to work for me.

  • Dear Santa,

    I've been a good little girl and having SQL Monitor and a spiffy iPad would really make my year.

    🙂

    I've left a bottle of 2005 Chateau-Neuf-du-Pape, a clean glass, bottle opener and some dark chocolate by the fireplace for you.

    Well, that certainly outbids the cookies and milk idea a few posts back!

    A Fat Tire and a slice of pizza would be more likely to get my attention.

    well here you go then;

  • I heard Santa was an recoverying alcoholic, has a stomach ulcer and I heard if he gained any more weight he wouldn't be able to get into his Santa suit.

    Therefore the milk is for the stomach and the cookies are fat free,so as to keep his waist line neat and trim.

    I didn't want to tempt him with alcohol and thought fat free was just about right to not add any extra pounds. I'm not trying to make him loose weight, because I want his stomach to still shake like a bowl full of jelly. If he lost to much weight someone is going to have to re-write a christmas jingle, or come up with a new one.

    Plus if I get a SQL Monitor license and an iPad I can monitor the Server "Northpole" next year to make sure the automated elf toy shop is running at maximum capacity all the time, anywhere.
