Hi all,
I have a doubt regarding Analysis services. In my machine i have installed SQL server 2005 analysis service is available.
From my machine i have created a new project/solution for Analysis service to create a new cube by using the database which is available in the server.
In the datasource i have selected the servername and then i selected the database. Then i deployed .... it gives me the error
' "Username" does not have permission to create a new object in the server or object does not exist'
sometimes the error also occurs as 'The project does not deployed to the localhost server connection cannot be made. Ensure that the server is running. If you verify or update the name of the target server Right click on the project in solution explorer select properties click on the deployment tab and then enter the name of the server'
After getting this error i entered the server name instead of local host... but still it exist...
How should i have to proceed.... waiting for your valuable solutions????

Is the analysis services service running on that server? Check in Windows services management and make sure it's running.
