While installing SQL Server 2008 I am getting this following error message:
Unable to connect the SQL server database
Error details:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
Please help me to resolve this issue..

Is this during the actual installation or you get this message after installation when you try to connect?

Are you a local admin in the server that you are doing the installation?
