User account automatically disappearing from Report Manager

  • I am hoping someone can shed some light on an occurrence for me…

    Our production report server typically authenticates users via active directory but we have been required to allow connection to an application that resides outside the AD domain. To allow connection, we created a user account on the physical box where report manager resides and we created an login for this account within report manager giving the necessary access. Everything appears to work fine. What I have noticed, however, is that after some time the login (within report manager) gets removed.

    I do not know what the application team is doing - they may even be deleting the account from the box itself and recreating it. My question is would such an action cascade to the report manager and delete the login there (they are on the same box). Does anyone else know of any actions that could cause an ID to be automatically deleted?
