I need to set the column program_name on the table sysprocesses using a SQL
command to send via ODBC connection, who knows what command I have to send?

You can set this in the connection string use the APP keyword i.e
"DRIVER=MSDQSQL;SERVER=(local);UID=sa;PWD=;APP=My application"

Not possible all the parameters are fixed.
