I want to migrate one DB schema to another one, while preserving the data. The new schema is very different than the old one ( I have table and column name changes, datatype changes and relationship changes). I know that one option is to use SSIS, however since there are many tables and many changes I am looking for something that would be easier and faster to use (sort of like the BizTalk Server Mapper transforms one xml schema to another). Is there such a tool out there?
