  SQLAgent - Alert Engine using more CPU usage.

  1. how to check and resetting sampling interval under SQL Server registry?

  for PerformanceSamplingInterval in MSSQLServer\SQLServerAgent which sets the sampling interval.

  2. I road some artical, they suggested we can delete Demo: Alert under sql server agent. If i deleted for all demo alerts then waht will happend? how sql server agent working with sp_sqlagent_get_perf_counters?

  I had reset values PerformanceSamplingInterval 30 insted of 14. under

  MSSQLServer\SQLServerAgent\PerformanceSamplingInterval.

  I thought it will reduced the more cpu usage.
