SQLBits IV, Manchester, 28th March

  • I'm booked into this, and looking forward to it. It's the first event of this kind that I will have been to.

Also I still class myself as only a little above beginner, so I expect to develop a rather strong headache over the course of the day.

    Agenda is here: http://www.sqlbits.com/information/NewAgenda.aspx

Of these I am planning to see:

    - Performance tuning your Sql

    - Sql Server's storage engine

    - Effective test-driven DB development

    - Database maintenance optimisation

    - the life of a query

    - Stop throwing hardware at the problem

  • Hi Mazzz,

I shall be heading up from Nottingham to check it out. Still a beginner myself, only just passed my 70-431 yesterday. Not too sure which sessions I'm going to go to yet apart from the 2008 one as I'm looking to do the 70-432 soonish.

    Anyone else? 🙂

  • Looks like a good event , am thinking of heading up from London..

    Congrats!

I've been trying to gear myself towards buckling down and studying for it, but it ain't working! I'm taking a month-long holiday in May, so after that would be a good time to start (I'll be skint for starters!)

I'm only round the corner from it in Leeds, so nice and easy for me (although with the fast trains from London I think your train journey would only be an hour more than mine!)
