MCDBA Certification

  • I have been working as DBA for 3 years and I want to get MCDBA certificate. Can someone point me in right direction? I am confused about what to read to prepare for this exam, if someone can tell me what would be the best way to prepare yourself?

  • Find the training where trainer can help you get your certificate.

Find the materials which contains questions in exam.

Ask your friends which firms provide you this kind of stuff. The information is normally not disclosed outside.

  • If you are already very familiar with SQL Server then the fastest way to hone in on what knowledge you need to pass the exam is to use exam prep software like Transcender. The questions won't be identical but they will be close enough that you will know what areas you need to focus on.

I have been working as DBA for 3 years and I want to get MCDBA certificate.

The MCDBA is an older cert. It was for SQL 2000 and most of the core exams have either been retired or are being retired next month.

    Dear Gila
Since you are a certified master in SQL Server id like to ask about MCSA
I have been working as a DBA for quite some time now and want to get certified as i believe it will help me refresh my knowledge as i am also an Oracle DBA.
Which MCSA would you recommend? Take the MCSA 2012/2014 or wait for the 2016 exams to come out officially?
I believe its better to do the 2012/14 now and in the future look at 2016
    What do you think?
    have a lovely day
    Kal
