SQL Server 2008 Cluster- Chnage in IP addresses/subnets for Cluster nodes.

  • Hello -

I have a SQL 2008 Cluster Setup on Windows 2008 Server Cluster with 2 nodes in Active/Passive Clustering.

I am going to move my nodes to HA Vlan to provide Network redundancy.

My Physical IP Addresses for 2 nodes and Virtual IP Address for Windows Cluster and SQL Cluster will change to new IP Addresses.

Once the Servers are connected to new Network Switches with new IP Addresses, what changes I will have to make in my Cluster Setup, so that my Cluster is up and running fine after the move.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Kishore
