Off on Tech Outbounds SQL Cruise this week. I'll probably be very light on the forums.

One day I hope to participate in one of those cruises just so I can say I did.

Cool

Speaking. Session on execution plans, one on devops and one on PowerShell to manage Azure.

I have to ask because I don't know... the cost of the cruise is something like $1,500 but that does NOT, apparently, cover the cost of being on the boat and having a stateroom. So my questions are...
1. How much is the cost of the boat ride/stateroom and...
2. Where does the ~$1,500 go to?

1. Varies. If I recall correctly, my room is $600 for the week.
2. To the organizer, like other private events.

2. I should clarify #2. We have a room for holding classes that has to be paid for. Coffee, shirts, all that stuff. There are a bunch of costs for the organizer.

I notice there's a break for 6 or more. How many people typically attend an SQL Cruise?
