I am trying to restore a SQL Server 6.5 database dump from one SQL server instance to another. I am unable to perform this task through the GUI...
Does any one know where I can find a script to restore my database?
There aren't too many documentation to help me since this version of SQL Server is a little old...

its been a long time and I don't have a script, but your problem might be that before being able to restore you need to ensure the device layout the database sits on in the new instance is identical to the layout where the database came from.
After that the restore command is basically the same as it is now except you will be restoring from a device rather than a file, but the gui should handle that for you.
post any error you are getting, you might get a few more responses.
