I am new to SRSS and SQL and I am looking into setting up our disaster recovery. i know enough to get around and do some of the basics so i am OK there. We currently run SQL 2005 on an active passive cluster. our SRSS databases are
on the cluster but not clustered. we have a web server users connect to to
pull reports. what i am trying to plan in disaster recovery is the failure
of the front end server and not the cluster (as of yet). I have read some
MSDN articles with some general guide lines on what to back up etc... I am
looking for something similar to what I have to give me a good starting
point. Basically I want to simulate the failure of my front end server and
replace it.
Also, I am looking for the physical location of the .rdl report files, etc to make sure they are backed up but can't find them.
Any leads in the right direction would be greately appreciated.
