I am fairly new to Analysis services and MDX
I have a question regarding how to work out the quarterly values on a debtor report.
There is a extensive time dimesion on the cube.
The problem is the quarterly values should not be the aggregate of the previoues 3 months values.
Because it is a debtor report it should only be the last month in the quarters value.
For instance - if its the first quarter then the quarter value is only equel to March,
If March is zero then the February value should be used, etc.
I saw there is a QTD, and MTD functions and tried using those without any success
Could you please point me in the correct direction as to where I should start.
