error while creating DTS package

  hai,

  i am trying to create a dts package using import/export wizard. but i am getting an error while selecting the data source.

  i have selected the datasorurse: microsoft OLE DB provider for sql server.

  the error i got is

  error source: microsoft OLE DB provider for sql server

  error description:[DBNETLIB][Connection open.(connect()].sql server does not

  exist or access denied

  my system details: windows vista

  i have installed service pack 2 (Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.194 (Intel X86) Aug 6 2000 00:57:48 Copyright (c) 1988-2000 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Evaluation Edition on Windows NT 6.0 (Build 6000: )

  can any body give the solution for me.

  You have either not entered the name of the SQL Server correctly or the login does not have rights to the SQL Server.
