I know this is going back in time a bit, but we've got an old customer database that I need to restore using SQL Server 7.
I get the following error when running the installation:
"An Internal Error has occured during install (Failed to load package id)"
This is a clean build of Windows 2000 and according to the Microsoft Help SQL Server 7 should work on a Windows 2000 O/S.
Can anyone cast their mind back and help?
