I run a maintenance job once a week that includes reindexing. The server was recently upgraded from SQL7 to SQL2K. Now after the maintenance job runs the response of the database slows down. There is nothing new happening on this SQL server other than the upgraded SQL version. If I stop the SQL2K server and then restart it after the maintenace job has been run, normal performance is restored. Any thoughts on what may be happening here?:w00t:
