Client company in Akron Ohio area needs a Jr/Mid Level SQL Server DBA to join it's staff. This is not a Sr. Level position.
You will provide support to new and existing SQL Server 2000 and 2005 servers.
50-70K range ..depends on experience plus bonus of $8k - $12k tied to performance (personal / team / company)
Relocation Assistance is provided.

*Responsibilities:
Perform daily maintenance and upgrades on existing servers
Installation of new servers
Implement structural modification changes to databases
Monitor and tune systems as required
Assist with code enhancements to achieve reliable server performance and ensure database security and data integrity
measures are in place
Responsible for data recoverability by implementing successful backup plans to disk and recovery procedures
Develop, revise, and implement policies, standards, procedures and rules in order to administer the database environment.
* Qualifications:
-One to three years experience working with SQL Server 2000 / 2005
-MCSE or MCDBA a plus
-Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution
-Ability to work in a high energy, team environment
