When writing queries, I used tabbed windows. It its great that you have a whole window for the queries, results, messages, plans. Hit F6 to move through them.

In management studio, try setting up tabbed windows. Run a query. With Grid output, you get the results in a separate tab. With text output, your query window gets split and you DON'T have tabbed results!

Yeah, I can get almost what I want, but they removed a feature that I used.

Why did they break this behavior?
