Hello,
Is there a good inexpensive way to scale out an existing primary replica on SQL Server 2016 Enterprise ( in addition to an existing single secondary replica) for reporting purposes? We were thinking about replication from SQL Server to MySQL/PostgreSQL via 3rd party tool, as all other ways such as an additional Secondary Replicas(AlwaysOn), LogShipping, Transactional Replication are quite expensive for an Enterprise version.

You could always use Standard edition for subscriber which is not that expensive for reporting and use Transactional replication.

Say, I have 10 subscribers for the same article. Will I get a performance hit on a publisher?
