Importing the results of a json uri into csv or azure sql database

  • Hello,

I have to take a .json api, which when pasted into a browser returns a lot of information. I need to import that information into either a CSV for into sql azure database. I was hoping to use Data Factory copy activity with an HTTP source, that being the .json, but could not get it to work, maybe that is still possible but I am not sure how. I also looked in Azure Functions, but I do not have much experience with them, and did see a way to do it using those.

Can anybody out there point me in the right direction, a resource, or provide some clue on how I might go about this? I am also new to API's and fairly new to JSON, so please feel to go into any basics, it will help to understand. I would post the .json here, but I think there is some sensitive data in there, so I am going to exercise some caution and leave it out.

    Thank you for any help.

    Kind Regard's,
    D
