Ola hallengren script for DBIntegritycheck

  • I just ran Ola's script in one of the server which is running 2008R2 SQL Server and it failed due to this error below. However, this script is running just fine on other server (2016 SQL Server)

Unable to start execution of step 1 (reason: Variable SQLLOGDIR not found).  The step failed.

Has anyone run into the same issue?

  • I ran the same script on another server running on the same version of SQL Server and it is running just fine.

I ran the same script on another server running on the same version of SQL Server and it is running just fine.

I've seen that error posted recently and from what I've read it looks like it's an issue with SQL Server earlier versions not being detected correctly in the scripts.
