i can see this Fx near precedence constraint (connecting 2 Sequence Containers) but where /how can I find out the definition of this function or expression?

  • This is the BIDS 2008 project that someone else created. I opened it the first time.
and when i execute it, the last container does not get executed. Everything ends at the top sequence container.
    see the attached screenshots.
I cannot find where this expression is defined. Please, help. Is it a bug?
there is no function or expression defined anywhere in the package/project.  can that Fx picture be untrue?

  • Double-click the constraint line.

If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.

  • I have. that is exactly what the third image shows. there is nothing there.

  • I have found the reason!  In the constraint edit properties under Evaluation Operation it says 'Expression and Constraint' instead of the default 'Constraint'.
Even though no expression is defined anywhere the sign of Fx shows next to the constraint line. I have changed it back to 'Constraint', and the Fx has disappeared.
