Not getting any emails

  • I don't know what's happened, but somehow I'm no longer getting any emails from SQL Server Central. Probably I've accidentally turned it off. So, how do I turn it back on again?

  • In your profile are check boxes. If you're the Rod I think you are, these are turned off.

  • Hi Steve,

Is this where you're talking about?

If so, I'm sure I've done something there. Perhaps clicked on the top most checkbox, with a caption of "Topics", thereby clearing them all out. I did try clicking on one of them, but when I moved off of the page and came back again, it didn't retain that selection.

  • Ah, sorry, Rod. There are two places for subscriptions. You're looking at the ones for the forums. I assume those are the emails you're not getting? Nothing I've seen has changed here. no deployments logged, so if this is changed, I'd double check with your email admins that they're not quarantining them.

I was thinking newsletter subscriptions. Those are in your profile. Click My Account at the top for those.

  • I found it. Some how I set up a rule in Outlook.com, to consider all emails from SQL Server Central Subscription account as junk mail. I'm sorry about that. And thanks for your help.
