Hi!
I have SQL Server 2016 configured as Development Server for our development team, can I configure TFS Server onto the same server or I shall have a dedicate server for TFS,
Please advise the best practice,

Of course it depends. You may have one developer and one tiny project in TFS. But usually TFS servers do a lot of work and can be resource intensive at times. I'd use dedicated servers for TFS. That used to be Microsoft's recommendation - I'm not sure if they still recommend the same.
If your using it for automated builds, often a separate build server for the build services is used as well.
