custom chart palette not working

    Visual Studio 2015 with SQL Server Data Tools 14.0.61707.300

    I have a bar chart that has category and series groups. If I use one of the built-in palettes the report renders as expected.

    I created a custom color palette and then set the chart's palette to "Custom".  Very simple. 

    The result is no colors, all bars disappear.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Oh boy am i dumb.  If it helps anyone else ... when you enter colors with the RGB picker you must also set the transparency.  Otherwise the transparency is 0, no color!

    Thanks for posting back. I've done worse when I played with that using the expressions for hex values which I don't know well at all. I mixed up 000000 vs FFFFFF
    White bars don't display well on a white background.
