I have moved a database from one computer (and server) to another by using a backup copy, and then restoring it on the other using Management studio to restore it on the other machine. This involved making the backup and moving it to the appropriate folder on the new computer. That worked fine, I am able connect to the db in Management Studio, but when I try to connect to the db from Visual Studio, I get an error message that I do not have permission to access the file. Since I am just using Windows authentication I am baffled. In case it makes a difference, I am using SQLExpress and VS Community 2013.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you post the full error message you are getting?

I just went in to run it again, to get the exact error, and this time it worked. I had tried it several times with not luck, but accidentally closed VS so I restarted VS and now it works, so problem solved, thanks for the help.
