Parent package passing date to children packages

  Hi,

  I have a parent package that is supposed to pass the datetime to their children packages, and it is not working. If I write the code in the children package, it works, but all the children need the start date. Can someone please explain me, or show me, where I can learn step by step how to do it? (the package needs to be later deployed).
