  I am unable to open the database when I run my program on a Windows Server 2016 machine.  It does work if I run it from a Windows XP or Windows 7 machine.  We are using SQL Server 2005 (build 9.00.3054.00) on a Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise SP2 server.  The exact error is: 
       A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - An existing connection was forcibly         closed  by the remote host.).
  We do not have a certificate installed on the SQL machine.  
  I have tried enabling TLS 1.0 and SSL 3 on the Windows Server 2016 machine, but that did not work.
  Any help would be appreciated.
