Processing a dimension

    Hi Friends,

    I am new to SSAS. Sorry for this question if this is silly. I have added a attribute to a dimension. I processed that particular dimension using option "Process Update" from visual studio. Will that work if I follow the same process while deploying dimension in other environments (prod,QA)?  Or should I use process full ?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms345142(v=sql.90).aspx has a nice chart showing which objects each type of "Process" applies to (see the "Process Options" section). If you just modified the dimension only, then "Process Update" should be fine.
