HELP Pls!!! ->Best pratice for SQL SERVER with SSD *10(400GB) & SAS 10k*6(600GB)

  • I need your help for setting disk for sql server

    I used this machine for gamedb . My server detail:
    - SSD RI 400GB * 10
    - SAS 10K 600GB * 6
    - Space from SAN for Backup 2 TB

    Please help me for separate disk drives for different purposes. (Log File, Data Files, TempDB, OS, Index) & recommend RAID for each purpose too

    Assuming you have not installed windows server at this present time, one option would be

    2 x 400GB SSD in RAID 10 for Windows OS (drive C 100GB and if you want to a separate drive D 100 GB too)
    6 x 600GB SAS in RAID 10 for sql server data files
    2 x 400GB SSD in RAID 1 for T-log file volume
    2 x 400GB SSD for hot spares
    2 x 400GB SSD RAID 1 for Tempdb volume
    2 x 400GB SSD for Windows page file and other temporary windows files and storage
