Log Shipping-Full backup on primary server

  • Good Morning Experts,

Why cannot we take regular full backup on primary server in Log Shipping? Does it break log chain?

  • No, it doesn't break the log chain.

You can take regular  full backups on a log shipping primary. Nothing prevents that, and it has no effect on log shipping.
