On the server activity history report from the data collector there are SQL Server Wait Statistics. One of the wait categories is CPU and consists of :
- cpu (consumed)
- cpu (signal)
- sos_scheduler_yield
The last one comes , like all the wait types, from dm_os_wait_stats.
Where does the cpu(consumed and cpu(signal) come from (which dmv or metric)? I'd like to know the query behind it ?
