The job is running but when i open history for that job , it doe snot show running. How can see if it running and at what step.

Don't like the idea of doe snot, but suggest you check the Job Activity Monitor.
If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.

Normally when i run/start any job , I wanted to check which step the job completed executing and so the reason i am looking at history.
Thanks i found the issue. Step 6 failed and I re-started at step 6 and it is still executing the step 6 and so it is not showing in the history.
