Wow - never new this one, and I'm all about keyboard shortcuts. Moving the splitter was never satisfactory, so for years I've been closing the file and reopening, just so I could get a full edit window without results. D'oh!

And it works in SSMS 2005 and 2008. I use keyboard shortcuts all the time, so I thought this one was too simple and was looking for the trick. As of now, 83% have gotten it correct, so I'm not alone.

Has anyone lost this (and other) shortcut? In my work laptop I'm not able to hide the results, but I'm not sure if an add-in removed the functionality.

That happened to me recently
I had to uninstall and reinstall SSMS for it to work again
