  Hi All,

   We have SQL 2008 Active/Passive cluster .Our plan is to retire one node of the cluster and convert it to a single node SQL cluster.
   Our plan is to remove one node of the cluster and convert it to a single node SQL cluster.

  In addition Reporting services is installed and running . some reports are there.

  EVICT the node is solution to this and remove the node from Quorum as well.

  But my question is:

  Do i need to take care any another things before? Any links ? Any recommendations

  remove the node from the clustered instance by using the installer, then evict the node from the cluster.
