Urgent Career Advice Required

  • HI All,

I am Praveen and I am from India working as full time core MS SQL DBA from last 6 years.
Since my payscale here is very less I am unable to make a future here at present and is struggling to make my future survival.
Hence I am thinking of applying for PR in Canada and then apply for SQL DBA jobs after I reach in Canada.
I would be working in a restaurant or outlet in Canada for baring monthly expenses till I get any SQL DBA job.
Can anyone let me know the status and the vacancies of DBA jobs available in Canada?
Kindly help me in evaluating my success ratio. Request you all to guide me.
I am also attaching my resume for any reference.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Praveen Nair

You obviously have an internet connection... hit up on some of the more prominent job sites and let the negotiations begin.  And, no... I wouldn't move to a different country without having a job in place already.

Depends on the country, but you may find that trying to get resident status in a country without already having a job offer in that country to be rather difficult.
