  • HI there, and welcome. Could you attach your files another way? Most people won't click on an unknown zip file, especially not from work. It could be a sacking offence in some workplaces. (Also Dropbox is blocked by many employers.)

Hello. I have an exercise that i cant solve. What is the result? Please help me with a code. Thanks.
In the file there is the database, the connection diagram and the description.
    Here is the link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fx90rmagkwswt6y/exercise.zip?dl=01
    The database:
In our example, we recorded the results of a study of general college students. Among persons in contact with the school teachers, and among them are the students who appeared in the published periods. Students study in accordance with relevant themes divided into semesters are done by professional people.items listed in the syllabus up to the performance of a prequel to fulfill the mandatory condition of the subject.

The exercise: CREATE, ALTER, DROP, FUNCTION, PROCEDURE, TRIGGER and the code to test the results
Expand the database is to allow the student semester (Semester)the results recorded. The half-year result characteristics: student, semester, total credits. A new feature of syllabus: Credits (1-10). Implemented function: half-year closing of two facilities (actual student, all students). If the student's current semester is equal to or smaller than semester of the expertise, it should set the half-year results (obtained credits for the current semester greater than 1 results in the amount of tickets) and the current value of one semester it should be increased.

This really looks like a homework question. In fact, considering that your post states "Expand the database is to allow the student semester (Semester)the results recorded. The half-year result characteristics: student, semester, total credits. A new feature of syllabus: Credits (1-10)" I think I safely say this is a homework question.

We're not here to answer your Homework for you, that's for you to do. You should be speaking to your teacher/tutor for help with assignments, that's what they're there for.

  • I feel for you, having to complete an exercise that isn't written in coherent sentences.  Goodness knows how you're supposed to understand what is required.  Putting that aside, though, do you really expect us to do your homework for you without your having made the slightest effort to do it yourself?  Try it out, and if there's anything you struggle with, show us what you've done and we'll try to point out where you're going wrong.

  • Ah, damnit, I thought I'd try to give the benefit of the doubt, but it's more homework.

Hello, thank you for your help. I attatched the zip file.

Also, once you have attempted this yourself, and IF you do get stuck, attaching a zip to the thread is just as bad as uploading a zip to a third party site and supplying a link.As Beatrix pointed out, many of us browse SSC at work, and the last thing we want to download is a Zip file from an untrusted source.

If you need to supply any files, ensure that you upload them separately. The only items you shoudl really be uploading, however, are .sqlplans, .rds files, images, etc. Anything else you can put into your post. If it's a description of what you need to do, just paste it it, if it's SQL code then inside IFCode markup (see my signature).

You'll find, otherwise, that many people will be unwilling to open your attachments, and thus unable to answer your question.
