I currently have logshipping targetting one system and it is doing great. Now I would like to add a second target system for DR. I would like to have it start with the full backup, but since both of the target systems share a repository used to hold backups, I am afraid the initial full backup would get processed by the existing target system, as well.
Would the existing target system recognize that it has that data already and skip by it?
Is there a way to do this without having to stop the logshipping that is running now in order to reconfigure?
