    ---------------

This is Wayne speaking, now that the official notice is out of the way. The job is to develop a SQL Server database with a .Net front end to collect information on children born with visual impairments for statistical research and study. The database will be used nation-wide for entry and analysis. This is the second generation of the project, the first generation was very successful. Even though medical conditions are being collected, no other PII information is being stored, such as name, address, SSN, etc., so it doesn't fall under HIPAA regulations. But this is a formal RFP, so you have to request the packet and prepare a response to all the points, including naming your price.

I can't really go in to any further detail, you have to request the RFP package from Margie.

The person(s) winning the contract will telecommute, though some on-site time is required as specified in the RFP. This is being announced in New Mexico newspapers in Alamogordo, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque, and on any other tech web sites that I can find where I can post it for free.

If you aren't interested but know any currently available developers, I'd appreciate you pointing them to this. I can't give you a referral fee, but I'll award you karma points by thinking good thoughts of you. 🙂
