Get schema, backup MSSQL 2000 DB using TSQL

  Hi,

  Our client has given access to MSSQL 2000 DB. We are accessing it from Ubuntu system using TSQL.

  1.Is there an easy way to get the complete schema?

  2.Tried to backup the database and got ""Cannot open backup device ..." error. Seems it is possible only if SQL service user has access to Ubuntu machine, we'll be able to get the backup on our machine.

  Can we do anything on our side without sending more requests to client?
