ssrs 2008 display final total amount at end of report

  • In an SSRS 2008 report I want to display a grand total on the last page of the report. This report has 3 existing groupings, but I want a final dollar amount total after the last summary line. I am hoping that this total can be in the 'main' matrix that is used in the report and not placed in a page footer.

Right now I have a second matrix in the main reporting area of the report that displays the report filters that the user selected to run the report. If I need to, I could place the report filters in the page footer of the report.

Would you show me the code and/or give me directions on how to place the final total amount after all the detail lines and summary lines have been displayed by the report?

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
