I am creating an Analytic Grid report form and Analysis Services Cube.
The report will have two dimensions on Rows, 1 small dimension and 2 measures on Columns.
and will be filtered by date
When I create the report by browsing the cube in Management studio my reports generate very quickly, but when I create the report on performance point, it takes forever and it returns an error. "The query for this report took too long to complete. Contact the administrator for more details"
I am new to performancePoint and I am not sure how to troubleshoot this problem, or why would it time out in Performance Point but it would be so fast on management studio.
I would appreciate any help or feedback
