Good Morning,
I have a daily job to recycle the SQL Server Error Log and have noticed that the log records are present out of order, both in the viewer and when I run sp_readerrorlog.
For example, today's log starts at 21/03/2014 00:00, goes backwards to 20/03/2014 17:15, jumps to 21/03/2014 08:40 and then continues forward. Has anyone seen this behaviour before?
Any advice would be most appreciated.
