Hi

Requirement: Create Linked Server for S1 which is Sql server 2008r2 in Server S2 which is Sql server 2012.

I have created the linked server for S1 in S2 and can retrieve data with out any problem. But when a user tries to get data from Linked server she cannot do so. I created a new Sql login and tested it and was successful! She cant create a linked server and cannot get data from existing one even though she has Sysadmin role. Linked server is created with SA account and password.

Is there anything that i needs to change, i suppose she login in to her desktop and connects to S2 server and then tries to get data.

Please Help me

Thanks a lot
